Our springs are the source of our pride, so we're serious about monitoring and managing them. Our in-house team of geologists and natural resource managers regularly check the levels and conditions of the spring sources for sustainability. We want them to be around for this generation and the next (and the one after that).
But we don't stop there — we double (and triple) check our operations. Outside of our water experts and scientists, Florida's five regional and State-authorized Water Management Districts and independent scientists also monitor our water use.
To say that we're sticklers for high-quality spring water might be an understatement. Our standards meet (or even exceed) FDA requirements and the EPA's rules for tap water. So how do we do it? We follow a 10-step quality process that starts at the source and ends with each bottle. And just to be extra safe, our bottling lines are tested for manufacturing and water quality up to 200 times a day. We also have independent hydrogeological reports conducted.
The environmental footprint of bottled water is smaller than many other packaged beverages — but we want to shrink it even further. Since 1994, we've reduced the amount of PET plastic in our half-liter bottles by 60% and changed our labels to save almost 20 million pounds of paper. Our bottles are 100% recyclable (and we partner with Keep America Beautiful to make it even easier to recycle in Florida.)
When nature and a commitment to quality combine, great bottled water happens. Learn what it takes to bring our fellow Floridians (and our neighboring states) the refreshing taste of Zephyrhills® Brand 100% Natural Spring Water.
We've been lucky enough to be a brand that has been a part of Florida for more than 50 years. So we're committed to help keep Florida a wonderful place to call home.
